IFC-Flexfeeder
IFC Flexfeeder, the flexible robot infeed sytem, is a turnkey bulk goods infeed station with base frame, buffer, conveying technology, image processing, lighting, tripod robot and control system.
Small bulk parts arrive via a belt conveyor or even a vibratory system pre-separated at an image processing system that detects the component position, locates it and transfers the position data to a robot. The part geometry is also inspected. The robot takes up parts of up to 2 kg and brings them precisely into the desired set position. Areas of application are automotive suppliers and the automotive industry, electrical and electronics industry, plastic-processing plants and the medical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics sector

Properties

- Typically 60-80 parts/min are organised, provided, sorted or even directly fitted
- Repeatability up to 0.1 mm best suited for assembly and packaging with frequently-changing product variants and short product life cycles

- Robot with three-arm parallel dynamics and additional axis of rotation
